What is ulcerative colitis (UC)?

  • UC is a chronic inflammatory bowel disease (IBD)

When is UC diagnosed?

  • Most often diagnosed age 15-30 by a Gastroenterologist.


What is the treatment for UC?

  • This can induce medication to reduce inflammation and bring on remission. In some cases, surgery may be required to treat UC and complications.
