Ele Stojanoska

Director of Dietetic Gut Clinic

Ele is Accredited Practising Dietitian with a special interest in providing evidence-based care to patients impacted by gastrointestinal conditions. She runs the Dietetic Gut Clinic, a Perth based private practice with special focus on diet and gastrointestinal health and disease.

She is a PhD Candidate at Edith Cowan University exploring the role of diet and microbiome in gastrointestinal health and disease. Ele has undergone additional training via Monash University and is a FODMAP Dietitian for the managemnt of IBS. She is a member of the Dietitian Crohn's Colitis Australian Network (DECCAN) and the Vice Convenor of the National DA Gastrointestinal Interest Group Committee.
Ele is passionate about using a whole food approach to help people achieve their health and wellness goals.

As an expert in the area of Diet Therapy for Gastrointestinal conditions, Ele often an invited speaker. Some of the more recent presentations she has delivered have included:

  • Fibre for Fodmappers in collaboration with Noisy Guts and FODSHOP

  • Nutrition Therapy in inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) in collaboration with Gastroenterological Nurses College of Australia (GENCA)

  • Dietary Management of Stomas and common GI issues in collaboration with Ostomy Association

  • Low FODMAP diet for the Management of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), in collaboration with various GP clinics

  • Management of Pancreatic Exocrine Insufficiency (PEI) patients in General Practice in collaboration with Wexford Gastroenterology and Viatris.

Sabina Lau 

BHSc(Food & Nutritional Sc), MDiet (APD)

Sabina completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Food and Nutritional Sciences with First Class Honour in Hong Kong. She moved to Perth to pursue her dream to become a dietitian as she obtained a Master of Dietetics in Curtin University. Sabina has a strong passion to empower patients to manage chronic health conditions and exercise autonomy to improve quality of life. Having worked across various clinics she has supported patients from different walks of life. She enjoys building relationships and collaborating with patients to develop evidence-based nutrition plan to meet their personal goals and health needs.

 

Sabina has clinical experience in providing medical nutrition therapy for patients with gastrointestinal conditions and has completed further training in the management of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and the Low FODMAP diet, Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), pancreatic exocrine insufficiency and various other gastrointestinal conditions through Gut Institute, Crohn’s and ColitisAustralia and Dietitians Australia.

Sabina is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

Rebates 

You may be eligible for a Medicare rebate for your dietary consultation. In order to receive a Medicare rebate, you must obtain a care plan from your GP. Medicare rebates can be processed in our office at the time of your consultation. Out of pocket expenses apply for dietitian consultations.
